Why Clinical Leadership?
I am the co-founder of a family of five and a partner at TPC Leadership, an organisation dedicated to empowering large companies worldwide through leadership development, cultural transformation, and executive services.
In my professional capacity, I train, coach, and advise leaders across diverse industries and geographies, helping them navigate their roles with greater impact. However, my personal journey as a co-founder of my family has brought me into hospitals in varied roles—as a patient’s spouse, parent, and as a patient myself.
These experiences, whether joyful or challenging, have offered me insights into the critical role leadership plays within clinical environments. Observing the dynamics in these settings has deepened my conviction about the immense value of leadership development in healthcare.
To further explore this, I am conducting interviews with clinical professionals—including doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, and administrators—to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges they face in leading themselves, their teams, and their organizations.
I firmly believe that investing in leadership development is essential for professionals at every level—whether as individuals, within teams, or across broader systems. In clinical settings, where medical, scientific, and technical excellence is non-negotiable, the "human factor" represents an area of untapped potential, with significant opportunities for growth and transformation.
